Cyclone Yasi, one of the largest Cyclones has hit Australia and left a trail of destruction and 90,000 homes with out power.

So what happens next?

Cyclone Larry went through Innisfail 20th March 2006 only 5 years ago caused billions of dollars of damage to Innisfail and surrounding suburbs, we re-built and now we have to rebuild again….

Are we going to rebuild “Normal Conventional” Homes so another Cyclone can come through in a few years then we have to re build again and again? of course we are!

So how much damage is going to occur in the next 100 years??

How many homes, business and lives will be destroyed?

We need to step outside the box get over and  get over conventional thinking. Take a look at the the design below by Jacque Fresco:

This building is designed by Jaque Fresco founder of the Venus Project. This design is Cyclone / Hurricane and Tornado proof, due to the inverted cone like shape wind cant pick it up. At the tip a wind generator is installed so during a cyclone when the power is cut, you have winds of at leats 100km providing you with free power!

You could bunker down comfortably for a couple days in your own home with power, no need to sit in traffic trying to get out town or sleeping with 1000′s of other people in shoppping centre, school etc…

I know some of these designs look 1000 year ahead of our time…. maybe we are 1000 years behind our time. Jacque has been “designing the future” since the 1970′s.

We need to step away from conventional methods, we have been building homes the same way for 100′s of years, its time to look at something different.

Your going about this the wrong way, population reduction is not the answer, every person on this planet has the right to have any size family as they wish. As human beings we need to change lifestyles and resource consumption if we wish to continue increasing our population or to sustain our current population.

Lets take a look at some of the issues the planet is facing if we continue on our current path.

Land Mass

Land mass is not a problem – you could give every person living on the planet (approx 6.7billion people) a home on  a 1/4 acre block and it still wouldn’t even fill Australia. So we know land mass is not a problem, the problem is getting people out of the cities that is where all the congestion is.

Will reducing the population solve this problem?

Well…. yes it will ease congestion in the city, but is it the correct answer…NO. What we should be doing is pushing people out of the city into rural areas or at least the outskirts of the City Metro areas. Instead of Governments spending billions of dollars increasing / upgrading cities infrastructure they should be rewarding small business, corporations, Doctors etc to open stores / business / practices outside the cities. This will not only make the rural areas more attractive to potential residents but will also bring more money into the communities and local councils, at the same time easing congestion in the cities.

Resources

Food and Water – Our 2 most important necessities for survival (apart from oxygen) , if we keep relying on shopping centres for these necessities then yes there is going to be a problem unless we cap our population, but as the example I have given above if every body as a 1/4 acre you can grow your own fruit and veg and collect your own rain water  you don’t need to go to a shopping centre to survive. Also take in to consideration the food you will be eating will be much more nutritious, no pesticide’s, no growth enhancements, not genetically modified in anyway (unlike what we consume now) .

Oil - This is unfortunately our most import resource (apart from food and water) yet it shouldn’t be. Oil has been used for decades for fuel and power, there has been plenty of alternatives that just get swept under the rug   because the oil companies have to big of a hold on this planet and wont allow these alternatives to be released – Just to name a couple:

• The Electric Car: There are a few Hybrids out at the moment yet back in 1931 Nikola Tesla ran a car solely on electricity, It didn’t even need batteries because it ran on wireless electricity (Imagine where the world would be today if this technology was not suppressed by the 3 asses – Morgan, Rockefeller and Ford).
• The Hydrogen Car: There are a few Hydrogen “Fuel Cell” cars in development at the moment, the only problem is fuelling them because service stations are yet to supply hydrogen last time I checked. The secret is we do not need Hydrogen “fuel cells” you can make hydrogen yourself all you need is water, a power source and a conductive metal. The first hydrogen motor was built back in 1807 in Switzerland, and in 1941 during WWII the Nazi’s converted 200 trucks to run on solely on Hydrogen, yet here we are 203 years since the first cleaner and more efficent engine was built and yet we are still using  dirty and out dated methods of fuel????   WHY??????????!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

Power – There are plenty of alternative methods to power; solar is a great one to have on your home it just needs more research put into solar absorption and storing power until then it is not reliable enough to be your only source of power. We still have tidal, hydro and thermo energy. Combinations of these 4 natural power sources will do fine powering any country. But the fact is all of these power sources still need more research into the most efficient methods of abstracting power from them. Have a think of all the billions of dollars (spent around the world) of our money and years put into research on climate change…… and what was the answer to solve all our problems… lets tax the citizens!! that will save the environment.

Now just stop for 1 sec and  imagine if  all those years and billions of dollars was actually put to good use (instead of scamming the public) and went towards researching the above mentioned technologies and we actually had a natural unlimited source of power??

So Dick, as you can see from my few examples given above a population cap is not the correct answer to solve our planet’s problems. The answer is people and need to change, there needs to be a paradigm shift and we need to take the power away from the greedy, money hungry and corrupt oil tycoons because really the only thing stopping this planet from advancing is greed and money.

What happen to freedom of speech?

I understand that it will be used to blocked sites that should be banned such a Child Porn which is good….

But it wont stop there, you will find other sites will start to get band, even site such as this. This “independent classification body” is controlled by the government.

Do you want the government telling you what you can and can’t view on the internet?

At least we are not the first country to do it, there is another…. CHINA! which is a COMMUNIST country where the government controls everything.

Sites such as this will eventually get blocked, they don’t want people to have an opinion, they do not want people to know the truth. In my last few post I have blasted (and so have my readers) Turnbull, Rudd, Al Gore, Copenhagen, proven that man made climate change is a lie and spoken about alternative energies that the government can not control and can’t tax you, do you think they want you to know that?  (and that’s just the last couple of weeks )

Why doesn’t the government like Wycky??  Wycky makes people re think and question what is going on. With out the freedom of the internet there is really no more outlet for free speech, even in America a protest rally is now classified as low level terrorism, wont belong before it is the same in Australia.

Unfortunately I think most people will not even notice the difference, they get all there information from TV and the main stream media, which is all  they want you to know.

Talk back Radio is pretty good, 2gb done a fantastic job on the ETS, but  i give a big props to Brain Wilshire who has been against man made climate change for many years (long before the rest of the radio announcers finally jumped on board) listening to him on radio has been great, debating people about climate change and other matters, actually listening to  Brian is what put me on my quest for the truth . . BUT the problem with talk back radio is that it is a much older audience, the older generation wont be around for much longer, soon all the decisions will fall on us the  Y and MTV  generations and the problem is most of us have no clue what is going on in the real world, listening to Hamish and Andy and  Kyle and Jackie O on the radio, they are great and entertaining but did they tell you about Climate Change being a fraud and it is only being used to introduce a new tax? or did you enjoy the interview with Pink and the 14 year old girl who lied about being rapped?

This is why generation Y / MTV don’t know any better, so many people mainly young were all for an ETS, i could not believe it!

As generation Y / MTV get older, the now older generations will pass away and our freedom of information will continue to be suppressed, we soon will do what the government says no questions asked, we are slowly being turned into a communist country giving the government full control over our lives and not even know it.

My goal is now to put up as much information as i can, and hope that people read it, cross my figures that this site doesn’t get banned because if I’m not pissing someone off I’m not doing my job.

Malcolm you make a good point – “Somebody has to pay”.
But first why should we be the first to have an ETS?
0.28% of CO2 is man made, Australia’s contributes approx 1.43% of the 0.28%. We are only contributing a fraction of CO2 emissions,if we could shut down every manufacturing and power plant, take every car off the road and go back to the stone ages the difference wouldn’t be worth mentioning.
So I ask you again, why should we be first to do it?

How about the Governments? how man billions of dollars have been spent world wide on “Global Warming / Climate Change” research?
I know in the last 30 years The USA has spent approx $79 Billion on Climate Change Research and what do they have to show for it???? A NEW TAX!

If that 30 years and $79 billion was spent on renewable energies imagine what a different world we would live in today, and the governments wouldn’t have to tax the people due to their own incompetence.

If these corporations and governments were serious about cutting carbon emissions, more research and development should be going into Solar Power, planing for Geo-Thermal power plants and Hydro power plants.

Stop suppressing information, important information such as Hydrogen Powered Cars, since the 1940′s we have had the technology and the know how to run our cars on WATER! I am currently in the process of converting my own car into a water hybrid (half water / half petrol) giving me 60% fuel economy! and it is very possible to run you entire car on water. Why is this information not made main stream???

Because then the big Corporations loose money and control, if people learn that there are alternatives to the power that comes through the power lines, gas pipes and the fuel at the petrol pumps the Oil Co’s would loose their hold over the people, there would be more money in our pockets, none in theirs and the Government can’t tax us. There would be no need for power plants, oil  refineries and petrol stations we would be living in a much cleaner world and taking the money and power away from the money hungry tyrants suppressing and controlling society.

With more advanced Solar Panels and power storage, using Hydrogen (water) for heating and fuel,  rain water tanks and an enviro-cycle system we could literally live off the grid. Imagine never having to pay another power & water bill, filling  up your car in your own back yard never paying for petrol again. How much money would you save?  There would be virtually no man made carbon in the atmosphere… Oh apart from when we exhale

Keep this in mind:-

From 1989 – 2009 $79 Billion was spent in Global Warming / Climate Change research in the US alone.

30 years later and $79 Billion spent what did the come up with??

Improvements in renewable energy? No

New Source of energy?  No

Anything at all the will help improve the environment? No

So what was the outcome???…

I am hoping people read this and open their eyes and see that this is a sham, i am hoping that people use this information and start looking at alternative power and ways of doing things for them selves and to be free from the grip of the big Power Companies.

I still can’t get over that this sort of junk is shown on a major news site like 9MSN, i would rather see “In todays news, nothing worth mentioning”.

After posting below about the Methane Produced in Cow Farts is affecting the environment so they can tax us which will  increase cost and stunt to growth of the meat industries.

I thought I should actually do some research on the matter and see how much Methane is actually being produced by our farm friends and how it is affecting the environment.

First thing Methane is a “Naturally” occurring gas -
Of the Greenhouse gases currently in the atmosphere approx only 0.00017% is methane.
One article I read in 2004 didn’t even mention livestock – “The No. 1 source of our nation’s anthropogenic methane emissions, by contrast, is the decomposition of garbage in landfills”

I guess 5 years ago there were less vegans in politics and the government wasn’t in dire need of money.

In more recent studies  guess where 30% of the worlds Methane comes from…..PLANTS!!!! that’s right plants, here we are planting trees to reduce C02 emissions and we are creating more Methane.

“To their amazement, the scientists found that all the textbooks written on the biochemistry of plants had apparently overlooked the fact that methane is produced by a range of plants even when there is plenty of oxygen.”

So Methane is a naturally occurring gas….so why is it bad??
Methane traps 20x more heat then C02 does, however it has an Atmospheric life of approx 7 years in comparison to C02 which can last 50 – 200 years.

Now the Irony – Kyoto Protocol on Climate Change:
The Kyoto Protocol allows countries and companies to offset emissions from the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil by funding the planting of new forests or the restoration of deforested areas.
So… we are allowing countries to pump more C02 into the air as long as they “offset” it by planting more trees….??? which will create more methane….???? *insert Scooby Doo Confused looked here*
All in all I don’t know how bad Methane is but because it is a naturally occurring gas maybe there is something we are missing maybe it has another function, i don’t know of anything naturally created that harms the earth. A 1000 years ago there was a lot more trees, animals and Natural Methane deposits seeping methane into our atmosphere I think there would have been more then compared to now.

1 more Question:
Why is it that me a high school drop out can spend a few hours on the Internet collaborate all the above info and come to the conclusion that taxing cow farts isn’t going to help save the environment, yet there are politicians, the EPA and Vegans who say it is??? I’ll tell you why… because that’s what they are paid to do
