This stuff sounds incredible and reminds me of the “morphing” or “memory Metal” found in Roswell not long after the UFO Crash.
Program manager Dr. Mitchell R. Zakin give the example of a soldier needing a tool. He commands a bucket of programmable matter to form a wrench, and it does. Then he needs a hammer, and the wrench dissolves and reforms into a hammer.
“That is the essence of programmable matter,” Zakin tells SIGNAL.

The Roswell material was a material that was found in the Roswell crash site.
It could not be burned, tore, or destroyed in any shape or form. The material would always bend back to its original position if crumpled up.
